I got an emachines e725. It has a funny problem. I can connect to the internet using Wifi/wireless, fine when running on battery but the wireless connection stops working when the machine is hooked up to the power cable. By 'stop working' I mean I stop getting data; the status remains connected. Obviously the power line is somehow interfering with the wireless signal in this particular machine but I'm not sure how I can solve this. Any idea?

I would tinker some settings in your Power Management from Control Panel. Disable Sleep or Hibernate Mode for now and see if that helps.
