I'm new in this Forum , so apologies if this has already been a topic of discussion.
I was keen to try the Edge browser, but eventually I disabled it, I can't even remember exactly why, but I had finally got comfortable with Chrome/Firefox before I got the new system and I just didn't want to learn how to tweak another browser...my question is , has anyone tried the Edge, actually liked it and still uses it!? I don't feel like I gave it enough opportunity to impress me, just didn't stick with it, quit at the first stumbling block...just curious!!

I'm not a big fan of the Edge browser either, it's too void of features (like addins) to be a competitor in the browser field.

OP - What do you mean when you say "but eventually I disabled it"? What is the point of disabling it?

It was a bit bullish, it came as the Default browser in Win 10 to the exclusion of my fav ( Chrome etc..) it kind-a ticked me off , I don't recall exactly what it was doing to the detriment of either Chrome or FF , but I din't like the way they were forcing it on me, and since I'm a rebellious cuss I just defused it!

well, your fortitude inspired me and gave Edge another try and I found a neat little feature that suits me to a T...if you click on Reading View it strips all the extras off and you have a better reading experience and since I joined the Texture web site and read a lot of " Magazine Style" web pages this is a real bonus...as far as I can tell Edge is the only one with this feature!
( I'll probably be proved wrong in the next 5 minutes ) :facepalm:

LMAO...I'm smacking my head!...but I'm gonna keep using Edge for a while, MS is promising a whole bunch of new features coming up ( dang it I'm starting to sound like a shill for MS ! )

To me, Edge is great as a test subject, but I laid off testing as well until add-ons or extensions support is added.

Yeah! from what I could gather there's gonna be some exciting stuff coming down the pipe...right now I'm still exploring things and I like what I see despite the first impression I had which was unfavorable!
