Echo problems with microphone

3586 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  hakmed
Whenever I try to use it my voice echoes.

I have a Realtek HD Audio rear output sound card. I've tried going into the sound options > playback and muting microphone, but it doesn't help at all.

I've also tried turning Acoustic Echo Cancellation on, but it doesn't help either.

Try double clicking on the windows sound in the taskbar. Click Options -> Properties and select the Recording option. Make sure all volume controls are checked to show and click okay. Try muting all but the microphone line and see if that helps.
Is there a Realtek audio panel to try the same thing in?

Also, try testing the mic on a different computer.
I haven't been able to try my microphone on a different computer, but say hypothetically it works fine on others, what then?

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I've been surfing around for weeks and still haven't figured anything out :4-dontkno
