So I just got a new computer (Cybertron X-Strike) and I don't have speakers.
Whenever I plug apple earphones or ever a turtle beach headset into them in my front headphone jack (I don't have one on the back) they make a constant beeping sound, like an annoying beep, but doesn't stop. Other sounds come through, but the beep doesn't stop. I don't know if this helps, but it also seems that my computer recognizes them as speakers. Computer specs if you need them-
processor- AMD A4 3.7ghz
graphics- Radeon HD Graphics (that's actually what it says in my pc info)
OS- windows 8.1
RAM- 8gb
hard drive- 1tb
Any help is appreciated :)
you can ask for any other pc info you need

How it's recognized won't matter. Windows can't tell the difference between speakers or headphones, all it can recognize is that something is attached.

I don't know what would cause the beeping. And I've not seen a desktop PC with only a front panel jack. I can't find the exact model on the cybertron website, but the few that I checked had both (front and rear).

Hi x_tacocat_x and welcome to TSF

There seems to be a lot of variations for that PC, different mobos, graphics etc. Do you know the exact motherboard that's in it? It's possible the manufacturer fitted a sound-card, so the audio in/out sockets won't be in the same place as t'other sockets.

Otherwise, the beeping could be software-related, possibly a background program warning you of something - Try starting the PC in safe-mode and see if the beeping occurs (either hold the 'Shift' key whilst restarting Windows, or hold the 'Shift' whilst tapping the 'f8' key at boot-up).
