Hello!!

Someone on this forum has posted a question as to this mystery MoBo, but his is just an E206922 PS-1. This one can be found on Google, though it's very difficult to get info. Finally I found it on ebay, but it is not version 3.1, which looks completely different. The 3.1 version has 5 PCI slots, its chipset supports 266MHZ, it maxes out at 2 gig memory, or at least that's what it appears to be at. 4 memory slots, 2 162 and 2 184 pin and on top of the chipset's heat sink (orange-gold) there is a PC266 logo. The whole board resambles my other two, that is AK32L, but it's slightly reordered (position of power socket and disk drive sockets is different).

Can anyone give me some clues as to this (PS-1 version 3.1) board? Does it have any equivalents, etc?

Many thanks, Sylva.

KPeters,

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. I got disheartened and opted to get an nvidia based $20/free shipping (Yep, that's twenty) MoBo. I don't recall which off the top of my head. I am not at my tech computer which has it. It's a more modern MoBo slated for some e-machine line. When I go home to VA I'll get the specs. What I remember is that it has USB2, a very decent Audio chip, a video chip I don't use because I have a good video card, a 100Mb RJ11, but it needs DDR RAM which I already had on the former board. So for me this MoBo blew some new life into this old clunker, extending its life for a few more years. It also maxes out at 2 GB RAM.

Sorry, John.
