Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but here goes.
My e-mail account was sending out e-mails to everyone on my contact list, but I received e-mails saying most of them had failed. There is no record of them in my outbox and were successful only to the last 3 people I had e-mailed. It was for a site called talkmember.com.
I've changed my password now on my e-mail.

Does anyone know what is happening, how I can stop it and what that website is all about?

First thing to do would be to log into your email account and change your password which you've already done. Make sure it's a long, complex password or the account could be compromised again. Don't use the same password on any other online sites and you should be fine. I know tons of people who have had their accounts compromised but being careful will typically keep that from happening.

One thing I would add to JMPC's post is change your Email PW every few months. I get these Emails fairly often and rather than let time elapse, I call the sender so they can change their PW immediately.
