DVI cables

My Samsung monitor manual says " the video card output on your pc must be either a DVI-D single link or a DVI-I single link ." My video card is a DVI-I dual link. Does that mean that I need a different video card to get the most out of the monitor? Thanks.

Hi and welcome to TSF.
I think it's actually the other way round. You need a dual link monitor to get the most out of your video card.
Dual-link is only really necessary if you're using a 26" or larger panel with 2560x1600 or larger resolution. I use a 22" with 1680x1050 on just a single-link cable and it works just great.
