Hi there
strange problem:
for the first time since i completely reinstalled winXP i wanted to watch DVD. i installed the player (cyberlink powerDVD and then many others) and they kept crashing with all kind of DVDs. Funny thing is, in Linux (on the same machine - same DVD drive, Samsung SM-308B) some films play fine with xine, other films have a completely messed up video output (funny colored squares all over). I dont know what this is, I thought must be the hardware because powerDVD always worked before the XP-reinstall.
Oh yes, the only windows app that doesnt crash is interactual Player, it gives an error message instead, saying theres a problem in the video system.
dont tell me to reinstall powerDVD, i tried that enough.
any help would be so nice..
