Thanks again, Microsoft. You've screwed me good this time.

Upgraded to SP2 because my college just had to have it. Now I find that I can't play any DVDs whatsoever. I've tried multiple DVDs on WMP, PowerDVD, EasyDVD, and InterShit, and none work. I get a second of reading, then a stop message, and that is all.
I had Region Killer running in the background, because I don't see why the MPAA's view of the world should interfer with me watching my import of Oldboy, and I shut all this off, thinking Microsoft, in typical ******* fashion, had found yet another way to empower the insignificant DRM that is region coding. No dice.
So... should I reinstall PowerDVD? I'm gonna reinstall PowerDVD.
Didn't work. Any advice?
Edit: By the way, it is READING the DVD. I get that InterActual install **** every time I stick a disk in there.
