DVD drive issues

I have 2 DVD drives on my computer. 1 is a DVDRW drive the other just a regular DVD drive. For a long time, they both worked just fine. Then for a while, I was having some issues with my DVDRW drive where it wouldn't always recognize when there was a disk in it. Now, just recently, both of my drives are having the same problem. When I first turn on my computer and put a disk in, they will recognize whatever disk I put in. However, as soon as I take the disk out, it still things the disk is in there, and when I try to put a new disk in there, it won't recognize it, and still tries to find the old disk. Both drives pretty much do the exact same thing, and they get fixed when I reboot the computer, but then the same problem happens again when I put a new disk in. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?
