Hey all,
I am working on a dvd project in which i copied a movie to my computer and it was saved as a vob file.Then I converted it to wmv to edit it then using the super converter i tried to turn the video file back to vob standard compliant format and copied it to an empty dvd-r.I then tried to watch it through our dvd player but it said wrong disc.
Any help would be much obliged.

If your DVD player will accept -R media then the burn is bad. Possibly a software issue.

well I tried it under two formats mpg and vob so there's got to be a minor detail I'm missing

and i was also wandering if the conversion had to do with it.If i converted the file first to wmv then to mpg then to vob,would those be conflicting by any chance?

If the file plays fine on your computer then the file isn't the issue. Could be a bad burn, or wrong type of disc as mentioned earlier.
