Hello and welcome to the forum. It is possible that your media is no good, or that you need to flash the firmware of your dvd drive to the latest update to get support for your new media. For media that is compatible with your drive and for the firmware update check the drive mfg's website. As a general rule however, I normally reccomend Taiyo Yuden media...its simply the best, and is typically compatible with just about all drives, Verbatim would be my second and only other choice and you will find it is (taiyo and verbatim) listed on your drives compatability list.
