hello friend i am new on ths forum. here is my problem.
i have hp dv9000 and its screen is so dim that i can only see a shadow
of what is happening but on external it shows perfectly so gpu is correct. and then i tried to replace with another lcd but same problem. i tried my lcd with another laptop dv9000 and it worked perfect. but on my laptop it doesnt.
so there might be a problem in port in the board where cable of lcd ataches but how i can i know that this is problem and if it is, what to do.....
please help me

Hello,

When trying the other screen did you swap the whole assembly (inverter included) or just the LCD screen.

If you swapped the whole assembly and still had the same issue then it

would seem that you indeed have a problem with the port or the motherboard itself.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to test. About the only way is to test with another board.

Since you have tested the other screen/components on another laptop and they

are in working order the next logical suspect would be the board.
