? what is the easiest way to go back to just booting from windows XP ( I want to remove the linux boot side completely and use that drive for XP now). What is the easiest way just to put it back to booting just to XP. Currently my Grub.cfg file resides on the 2nd physical hard drive with Linux on it and my main drive has XP on it. I understand that the boot record info is on my main drive with XP?? maybe I just want it to go back to booting to XP only without the GRUB boot menu. THanks

you need to boot with a windows bootdisk, if you don't have one you can get one from www.bootdisk.com and boot to DOS, once there, type "fdisk /mbr" which will rewrite he master boot record with a windows boot loader, and you're good to go :)
