DSi Action Replay/Code Manager Problems

My computer says it can't find the right software when I try to connect my AR DSi to the code manager. What i'll find is something like DSi AR HW Prog with an ! in a yellow triangle next to it. i've tried searching online for it but I can't find anything. I want to update my AR so I can get codes for Pokemon White. Since I couldn't connect my AR to the code manager, I entered the game and some codes into the AR by hand. When I start the AR with Pokemon White in it, it reads that I have Pokemon White in the slot, but when I hit start it freezes. It doesn't do this with other games and I want to use those codes. :sigh:

Is the DSi AR's firmware up-to-date?

Another thing I just remembered is that the readme.txt won't open with the same problem as the code manager where the computer can't find the right software to open it.

Copy it to the hard drive and then try opening it

I have the SAME exact issue, to a T. And I've done just about everything I can find on the internet about it and it doesn't work. I've used this action replay before, but then all of a sudden it just started doing this. Why?
