I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RZ34G desktop. I reinstalled Windows XP Pro w/SP3. Under device manager there is a question mark next to multimedia video controler and unknown device. I chatted with Sony tech support. They said the computer would need to be reconfigured for the drivers and software. But I would need to pay for a service plan. I'm broke right now and would prefer to fix it myself. I downloaded all drivers specific to my model and each one I tried to install got message saying not for my model. I'm fairly knowledgeable with computers but can't get this solved. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is this where you are downloading your drivers from? If that doesn't work try the Unknown Device Identifier

Thank you for your reply. I did go to that site for driver downloads. I tried the Unknown Device Identifier but it just kept highlighting the multimedia video controller. I followed the link to download the driver and installed it and got the same result from Unknown Device Identifier .
