Hi,

I recently purchased the 64bit version of Windows XP but having installed it I realised that there really arent that many drivers out there for it and also, it seemed that Norton etc dont make virusscans and firewalls yet that are compatible.

Does anyone know when this is all likely to be sorted out and software available for 64 bit or is this version of windows just going to be forgotten about as Vista is on its way? Also, is there going to be a 64bit version of Vista?

Thanks.

Right now it's kinda pointless to go 64-bit right now because of the lack of software. And most 64-bit CPUs are awesome in 32-mode. Vista will come in both flavors and I wouldn't expect to see much 64-bit software until then.
