Hi all, new here and I'm looking forward to getting info here.

For some time now I will be actively using my Gateway P-78 series laptop which I just bought in June. I upgraded Windows Vista to Windows 7 the day it came out and even when I had Vista my computer would blue screen, giving me the Driver State Power Failure error.

It's usually when i'm converting video or even just web browsing. ALSO, it takes my laptop FOREVER to shut down or restart. It will take 30 minutes to power off.

I noticed some other threads on here when I did a google search when someone with an "identical" problem was told that its probably not identical and they should start a new thread, so taking this in mind, heres a new thread.

I haven't been super bothered by this until now, it's quite frequent. Anything I can do to assist you guys in helping me?
