I have a problem with a grahpic card driver. I have a ATI Radeon 7000 64 mb card. I updated my driver to the latest version but every time i go to settings it says " The driver u have selected was made for a previous version of windows, we will now start your computer with the default VGA driver. I have been downloading the right driver. I am 100% sure i have gotten the right driver
Does ny1 have any suggestions?
Comp stats:
p4 2.4
512 mb ram
ATI radeon 7000 64 mb
Cable internet
80 gig harddrive

Did you get the driver from their website and is it version 6.14.01.6292?

I tell people all the time ATI makes good cards, but crappy drivers & a lack of drivers
Try to install a older driver see if that works & see if it says the same thing!

For games you have to update direct x, newer games require
higher direct x to get more out of the game & more out of your card. Instead of trying to update the card driver, just update direct x. Try that, go to www.microsoft.com & download direct x 9
I'm still using a old driver for my card, the only thing I update. To
play games is direct x.......

Does the game run slow or what? Plus what game is it? For I check it out for you.......
