So you want Macromedia Dreamweaver MX? Ebay is the only place to get it as recently Adobe stopped providing the MX version (since CS3 has been out for quite some time).

I got a pretty good deal through Softmart for Dreamweaver CS3 at work...better than what Amazon and other sites could provide, anyways.

I was hoping someone here could help me. I need FREE technical support for Dreamweaver CS3. I can't believe ******* Adobe charges $39 per question!!! Anyway, on to my problem.

For some reason, every time I try and edit anything on a certain .asp page that I created earlier in the year, I get an unexplained error and Windows asks me to close it. Actually I don't even get to the editing part. If I simply click any element on the page, a picture, a dialog box, etc. It gives me the error. It's only this particular page though but it's still very important that I can edit it as this is for my work. Please help! Thanks.

@ Xiupan: Welcome to TSF!

Have you tried to open the .asp page with another webeditor or even notepad? Does it open?

Next time, please open a new thread with your question...

Yes it does open with notepad. So I guess that means the problem is with Dreamweaver? Maybe I should just reinstall it?

Sorry, I didn't know. I will remember that for a future question ^^;;

@ Xiupan: It might help to reinstall and update, but what you can also try is to open the page in notepad and copy/paste the code in a new page in Dreamweaver, save it, close Dreamweaver, restart computer, open Dreamweaver, open just saved file. Does it open now without a problem?

That's oke!
