This has happened every time I've shut my PC down for 3 months. My computer doesn't seem to be affected by it as far as operation goes (though I am afflicted w/ malware at the moment - it's on the HJT log forum). It's just annoying. Is there any way to fix this without losing everything I've downloaded since then?

I get (of course) the blue screen with this toward the top

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Then these codes show up:

STOP: 0x0000000A (0x000000B0, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x804EF3EE)

This started shortly after I downloaded a trial version of Norton Internet Security. One of the components didn't install properly. I have removed all the components as far as I can tell.

I would appreciate any help you could give me with this.

Hi jamyeda,

Please be patient and wait until the HJT anaylst has finished 'cleaning' your computer of the malware issues.
It is pointless at this stage attempting to fix anything until such time as you are cleared from the HJT Support Forum.
