Cant download using IE! When I try, all I get is a blank
page with a square simbol in the upper left hand corner.
Any help will be appreciated.

Is this only at one site, or any site? Also what version of IE is it?

I'm using IE 6.0 and it's the same
on any site I try to download from!

Sorry I also forgot to ask, what are you trying to download? Also if it a file/program you are trying to download does it kick back a error message?

First, thanks for your help... It doesnt
matter what I'm trying to download,
files, zipfiles, pics, whatever, I always
get the same resullt... a white blank
page with a small square symbol in
the upper left hand corner. The symbol
has like a red square, a yellow circle,
and a blue triangle in it. There is a
heading at the top fo the page with
the url , download, and a bunch of
other stuff releated to the download...
but no download. I can download
using Netscape, but I'm using netscape
6.2 and a lot of downloads don't support
it yet. I'm cable connected to the internet , but I also have aol with a
phone connection as an alternate and
I get the same result using either. My
computer = athelon 1700, 512 ram,
windows 98se with no other problems.

I've search through support.microsoft.com and haven't found anything. I've also asked the techs I know and none of them have run into this problem. The two things I would try is to go through IE and restore the defaults, or uninstall IE 6 then reinstall and see if it was a bad install.
