I want to download certain files and programs straight to my external hard drive(f drive) - verbatim model#USB250 - but whenever I do, they are still on my internal hard drive(c drive) as well, why? How do I change it, if it's even changeable? Will I just have to delete the internal drive afterward download? Does it have to do with browsers? I generally use Firefox 3.5 :4-dontkno I think my lack of experience is showing:grin: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

You can set Firefox to prompt for a download point for each file so you can choose the directory you want as the target for the download. If you are selecting the target each time, or if you set the options in Firefox to download to the F drive I would expcet the ony copy of the file on the c drive would be the one in the browser cache.
