You get old.
hey now psuedo :p

you can go to the company website and you will usually see a link called downloads.. click on it, and it should take you to the mirror's list for the distribution .. voila have fun waiting for a little while..

dial up < don't even try
DSL <takes me 45 minutes per 650 meg ISO
cable> about 30 minutes
When I go to the mirror selection and click on one, it brings me to a list of files, and directories. Do you have to copy each file and directory? What do you do when you get there?
Usually you will get a list of directories. I'm not sure what company you are going for but they may sort them by realease. I would recomend getting the .ISO files. Then you can burn them straight to a CD nice and easily.
Do you copy each file or will right clicking on the link to mirror and clicking "save target as" work?

The .ISO are going to be a large file. Basically it is a copy of the CD into one file. You can copy it or save it. Either way should work. May I ask which distro you are downloading? I or someone else can go to the site and give you better directions if you wish.
I wanted to check out SuSE , but don't feel like paying $70 for it. I just want to see if I will like it better than the linux I have now.
Thanks for the link. SuSE only offers a "live-evaluation" for ISO though. That sucks! All the rest of them have the full O.S., I think.
