Hi, I'm a first time user to this site, and had a few questions. I recently got attacked by the vundoo virus and was able to get rid of that after downloading some tools, but then my Norton's noticed that I have a new virus called download.trojan a file named pmnmm.dll in my WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 folder. Symantac.com has their directions but it won't delete the file. I've started up my system in safe mode and still can't delete the file b/c it's "being used by another program". I'm not sure what to do, and I have run out of ideas to get this "simple" virus off my computer and I consider myself to be a "techie" please advise. Thanks so much!

Please read through this thread especially Microbell's Five step process before posting a Hijackthis! log. If I had to take a guess, I would guess that pmnmm.dll is a Vundo file, especially because it is in use even in safe mode.
Thanks
Kevin
