Could someone tell me how to get the option of either booting up XP or going to a DOS prompt when you first power on. I did have it before but I've forgotten how to do it.
The way to do that with W2K/XP is by a dual boot. I setup my machines with FAT32 on the boot volume, then put MS-DOS on as my secondary boot. Very handy, and I can boot to DOS and do things like GHOST backups without a floppy.
No there def is cos I had the option on my last install of xp. It was just a case of editing the boot or config file I can't remember. So I can go to DOS without windows loading up.
