My computer does not show the cd/dvd drive..media player is running.but there is no any icon of cd/dvd drive in windows explore.In that case i can not write a cd/dvd.pls help to solve this prob.
Does not show the CD/DVD drive..

Hello,
Open Device Manager
Expand DVD/CDROM drives
Is the Drives listed? Open the properties and note the status.
If the Drive is recognized try removing and restart Windows.
Also try removing the filters.

If the drive is not detected in Device Manager boot into the BIOS and see if
detected.
