Do I need any extra harware for my pc to read an SD or MMC card or will the device listed below read/write the card for me?

I don't know if it will read/write from the computer. Normally I would just get a simple USB adapter such as this:

you can do as crazijoe suggests and buy the reader, but technically the product you suggested should read/write the files thru drag and drop as it states, when you connect it to your pc eith the wire provided
