Hello all,
I am a college student that is just experimenting with too many things and I have a new challenge that is beating me. I have 2 domains in my local network one is a dyndns and one is paid for (that I will be using as soon as I purchase a static IP). I have my website working off the dyndns domain and is publicly viewable, but my DNS server and majority of my computers on the LAN are on the paid network. Doing it this way I cannot view my website on the network.
I am trying to make a DNS record in my server to let this occur, but I have made a zone for this dyndns domain and made a A record to point to the webserver, but still did not work.
DNS is my weakness so I am messing with it, and a little too much as I feel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
