I can go online with wireless at work or school but cannot connect through Ethernet cord.

At Network and Sharing Center it shows connecting to network but not internet. When I ask to fix it claims "There may be a problem with your Domain Name Server configuration."

At network connections (local area connection) status both conectivity is local and media state enabled. It shows sending and recieving but claims "Cannot communicate with DNS sever(192.168.1.1)."

PLEASE HELP!

Hi enigma88,

Open up the command prompt and type in the following command: "ipconfig/all". Type in the command without the quotes. Then list the info on here.

I was in Device manager and reset my driver for cable internet and it soon was working. Not sure if this fixed it but I think it might have. Thanks for the help.
