I recently noticed that I am unable to connect to my media server through the Sharp TV's DLNA Application. I checked if the issue was the same for my PS3, and discovered my ps3 is able to connect to the media server without problem.

Through the media server itself, I can see the TV listed under devices labelled as "Device". I am using TVersity as my media server. I originally used Windows Media Player as my media server when the TV could access my media server before I discovered the issue.

The TV's network is using a wireless connection.

How is the Sharp TV's DLNA Application pointed to the media server?
Media server have a static ip address?

The TV is connected through my default gateway and The media server isn't running on a configured IP address (But like I said, it streams to my PS3 okay)

I just tried TVMobili, And the TV detected the media server like it should, only its not showing all of the media I configured it to.

Well, I got my media to stream to my tv with a media server that I'm somewhat happy with. Thanks anyway

I have seen complaints about media server not showing everything but never saw a solution or a reason for it.
