DLA Update...what is it?

My new Dell PC keeps prompting me to download and install a DLA Update...but it offers no explanation as to what it is. Can someone clue me in? Should I download and install it? DLA? I don't think I've ever heard of it.

DLA may stand for Drive Letter Access (see here). It involves packet writing software which allows you to drag and drop files onto a CD/DVD burner without having to use a burning program like Nero or Easy CD Creator.
