My display properties are a little messed up, instead of having the tabs: themes, desktop, screensaver, appearance, and settings it only has 2 tabs, screensaver and settings. i recently restored my desktop after it had a active desktop virus on it, but i got rid of it by doing scans with different spyware removing software. does anybody know how i can fix this???

Shortest and most efficient fix is the repair installation of windows. %100 accurate on restoring those entries. [ important !! : But you should be %101 sure that your system is infection free before doing the repair installation. ]
