I booted up my CPU a few days ago and received an error stating that sistray had caused an fatal exception in Kernel32.dll (once this message was closed one more .dll error came up but i neglected to write it down). I managed to work this problem out by reinstalling the OS over the corrupt one but now i have a new one.

I use a 25inch monitor at work and i can't seem to adjust my screen size beyond 640 X 480 <:upset: you can see my problem...and so can everyone in the office>. I have my setting set to apply without restarting, yet everytime i adjust the size it says i need a reboot for changes to take effect. After i comply the screen size is still HUGE!! :angry2:

In short....how can i fix this?

I have had that same problem 2 times since i got this PC. One time i couldnt get it out of 1024x768 and i couldnt see anything because the screen keep rolling on me, then just recently i couldnt get it out of 640x480 and everything was so huge I couldnt even see or click on the apply button to fix the problem. Then when i clicked on the apply button it still didnt change it, i couldnt even change it in safe mode. I was about to beat the **** :smash: out of my computer. Then i just turned it off for a day and i turned it on the next day and it was fixed:confused:

IT was really messed ThEgReAtOnE! I left on Firday and everything was fine, then I come in on Monday and all i could think of was the song by the BoonTownRats "I don't like Mondays". My suggestion to prevent might be to follow Doonz advice of the obvious and get the updated driver.

What type of mother board were/are you using???
Onboard Display or PCI(AGP) ???
