hello everyone:

I just got a new display for my dell 5150 due to the other one was broken.
i installed it and i thought everything was fine until i turned it on and the result was that EVERY SINGLE THING that is black (Such as the wallpaper) looks red, gray looks pink and stuff.
So i have no idea what to do now.
Do you have any suggestions?
Any idea of what could it be?
I´d really appreciate if someone can give me any advice to fix it.

If you see a pink/red hue on the screen from startup then it could be a bad backlight (part of the LCD). If this LCD is brand new, then try replacing the inverter first.
