Yeah was tried using the latest Catalyst driver. I did not reset the CMOS. When I install the drivers automatically it gives me and error and when I try to do it manually no adapter shows up.
Display Adapter Problem
My boot sector got screwed up and I had to reinstall Windows. I reinstalled by lan driver, audio drivers, usb 2.0, etc. I had a problem with my video driver. I have a radeon 9800 It said please install a standard vga adapter and retry or something all those lines. So I did the basic trouble shooting ie playing around in device manager, starting in vga mode, going to the control panel and accessing the display menu, nothing worked. I realized that device manager does not even have recognize my display adapter and that it is VGASafe as a driver. Does any one know how to fix this?
