We just ordered 150 laptops with Vista on them for our school district. Normally, we create and image from one and then multicast the image out to the other systems, but are having problems doing this with Vista. Zenworks 7 is the program that we use and I've read that it's not Vista supported, but you can manually image Vista systems with it and then run a repair from the Vista cd and all should work fine.
So far I have tried a couple images that I made and each time I bring down the image, I get duplicates of each file that is in the C:/Windows/System32 directory.
Has anybody had any luck with imaging Vista? We need to have these systems running and ready for use for the students when they all come back after christmas break.
