Recently, I had my computer's OS reinstalled. Now the sound is coming from its on-board sound card and I cannot turn it off. I tried to disable it in the BIOS but no sound came out instead and checking in the Control Panel shows that there is no sound card installed. I'm at a loss. Anybody out there has a solution for this problem?

Hello,

What sound card do you have installed?

After reinstalling Windows did you install all your Drivers.

After disabling the onboard audio in the BIOS the system should use the sound card

that is installed.

Click Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc

When Device Manager opens make sure that all Drivers are installed.
