I just bought a New Toshiba Laptop from Best Buy that was working GREAT (still is!) But now the DVD/ CD-ROM Drive is disabled!? (it wasn't before)

After I installed FrostWire, it happened. So Now I unistalled FrostWire and Scanned my laptop for Virus' and nothing.

Im on the Device manager and on the properties of my DVD/ CD-ROM drive it says

"A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available." :sigh:

HELP PLEASE!?
Cds won't play or anything!
The laptop is only like a week old!

I've tried Uninstalling it and turning it back on (like someone suggested) and it just goes back to being Disabled. :upset:

I also tried Udating it, but still nothing.

What if you right click it in device manager and select Enable? Or is it already enabled?

Open up your computer from the Start menu.
Right click on the CD/DVD drive and select "Properties"
There should be a Recording tab there, and in the tab there should be a check box about CD recording. If it's checked, uncheck it (if it's not checked, check it). Then reboot and see if that helps (I spent 4 hours in an airport trying to fix this in XP!)
