Disable .thumbnails folder on network drive

Does anyone know how to disable creation of .thumbnails folders on netware drives? I have tried disabling thumbnai cache on local PC and deleteing the .thumbnails folder but it just gets recreated.:wave:

I have tried what is given in this link. I'm looking to prevent creation of the .thumbnails folder on a network drive where photos are stored.

Did you run the Registry Hack listed on the link that joeten posted on the network computer where the pictures are stored? What happened?

Can't really do that, it's a NAS drive on my home network. Looked at management software for box and found nothing I can configure for files or folders
