DIRECT X issues
If my laptop has been on for a long time then I cannot use my webcam, games, etc. because it says 'Check you've got a valid Direct X installation'.
However, when I restart my computer it does work.
Can you suggest what I can do to fix this? I also am struggling to find the Direct X programme on my computer, but it must be there as it does sometimes work.

Go to Start/Search and type dxdiag and press enter, and post the results.
