I'm replacing the LCD on my Inspiron B130, and all is going well, except that I can't seem to remove the video cable from the inverter. There is a blue plastic tag attached, but I feel like when I pull on that, that it will break or the harness will break. Any suggestions?
I'm going by the tutorial on screentekinc.com
Thanks!

Ack...OK I figured out a solution to my first problem... I didn't disconnect the plug, since I am using that inverter with the new LCD... the new LCD is working fine, but as it turns out, this LCD doesn't have holes on the bottom to screw on the inverter. Rather, there are protruding brackets which don't align with the inverter. Would it be a bad idea to remove these brackets and say, glue or velcro the inverter to the LCD? Of course, I'm not going to risk drilling holes in the bottom to attach the inverter...
