Hey I have a small car problem, i would appreciate any help or suggestions. Basically, when my jeep is rolling slow at a stop or thru a parking lot something at the wheels or axle makes a squeaking noises. It is not a continuous noise, its kinda like eek..eek..eek..eek.. and when i hit the gas or shift into Neutral -it stops.

Browsing other posts with the similar problem, most suggest people to replace rotors/pads. However, i don't think that's the problem in this case because when i shift my car into neutral (or break in neutral) the noise stops. I also read about speedometer-cable issue in the jeeps? Word of experience from anyone with a jeep liberty is much appreciated! Thanks.

Check the U joints on the drive shaft then.

Speedo cable noise will remain the same regardless of if the vehicle is in drive or not. Do as BG suggests and have the U-joints checked.

What year and how many miles on the Jeep??

Check U joints wheel bearings, I'd start with U joints
