Hi,
I was wondering why everytime I turn on the pc I get the white desktop recovery screen asking me if I have changed my desktop and if I want to recover it, even though I have not changed it. :4-dontkno

Paste screenshot plz.

Sounds like spy/malware. Try downloading Spybot S&D and running a full system scan. This won't necessarily remove all the problems either, but may help you identify them. If you run the scan, clear everything, reboot, run scan again and there are remaining items, its a more complicated process to remove the junk.

Go to Run -> type 'msconfig'. Go to Startup Tab and uncheck anything you don't want to startup when you boot your computer. Spy/malware may put it back though when you reboot.

Thanks.

1. Right-click the desktop and then click Properties.
2. On the Desktop tab, click Customize Desktop.
3. On the Web tab, under Web pages, clear the check box for the item that was added last.

3. On the Web tab, under Web pages, click to clear all the check boxes
