I use the computer together with others. Everyone has his name and password. Now usually when someone stopped working and somebody else wanted to work after him, the desktop would appear with the user names and you could type in your password. But for some time now the desktop appears with nothing on it, just the blue screen. The keyboard and mouse do not react and the task manager does not open, so all you can do is to 'brutally' switch off the computer.
Can anyone please tell me what this can be due to and what can be done about it?

this could happen because of two main reasons :
1. There is some hardware malfunction that stops the
computer from working normally.
2. Some program that is running in memory that takes
memory and CPU resources that makes the computer
stuck or react very very very slow...
Try to check this two options...
