The laptop boots up all the time, and sometimes it boots up, and nothing appears on the screen.

I was just wondering if the screen could be bad or just video card? I didn't try using an external monitor, but it only happens every now and then when its booting up.

I will try to reseat the video card.

Try it on an external monitor it could be the video cable or screen inverter just as easily as the video card.

thanks for the info. The graphics card was shot which I figured cause that is what happens the most to this model laptop.
