When scanning or copying the image or copy has a black bar from top to bottom on one side of the page (see attachment). There is nothing on the glass plate and it has been cleaned.
There is no problem with printing and I have reinstalled the drivers, therefore I am assuming it's a hardware problem.
Scanning and copying has not been a problem in the past and I can't think of anything that had occurred to start this off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
