So, I was curious about the power supply requirement for my Dell Precision M90 laptop. It requires the larger brick 6.75a @ 19.2vdc. This is a big honker of a PS! I also have a smaller, more portable PS that puts out 4.62a @ 19.2vdc. Since I have to lug this huge laptop around, I'm trying to lighten my load a tad and would like to use the smaller PS.
I've used the smaller PS at work and it seems to charge the battery fine and the laptop *seems* to run normally.
Does anyone see a problem with using the smaller output PS? Should I change any of my settings on the laptop if I want to use the smaller PS?
