Dell N7110 Randomly Losing Power

I've been experiencing a weird problem with my laptop. It randomly loses power, even if it is not being used. For example, yesterday, it was plugged in and the "plugged in" light was on. The laptop was closed and not running (hadn't been used at all that day). I simply shifted the laptop and the light shut off. The laptop is totally unresponsive. No lights, no response upon pressing the power button, nothing.

In the past it has shut off during the night without it being touched. It has also shut off while being used once. It has happened before in the pass and it always seemed as though moving it around, removing and putting battery back in, etc. would get it running eventually (but don't know if this was all coincidental). None of that has worked this time though. I'm not too worried because it's still under warranty, but if somebody know of a simple solution I could try, I'd rather give that a try before I spend shipping it off to dell for a week or two. Thanks for any help!
