Ok. I want to upgrade my PC. These are the current specs; Dell 0HJ054 Mainboard(Chipset:i945P/PL/G/GZ), Intel Pentium D 820 2.80 Ghz CPU(775LGA), 4 GB DDR2 RAM. I would like upgrade it to higher CPUs. I have Intel Core 2 Duo or Intel Core 2 Quad CPU in my mind. However, I don't know whether my mainboard would support these or not. If you need more info on the matter I can provide. Thanks for the help.

That Mobo will accept;
Intel Pentium 4 5XXX and 6XXX processors with Hyper-Threading technology
No Multicore CPU's.

Thanks for the response. According to the Dell's tech support, I can only upgrade to Intel Pentium D series CPU's. So I've decided to buy D 945.
